Our Latest News...........

As you will all be aware the Government has just brought in New Legislation for Boarding kennels & Catteries.

A lot of legislation I am delighted to say we had already in place, However we have taken the opportunity to make some changes; Details below.

Terms and Conditions (Additional Information on the drop down box)

We have made several changes to our Terms and conditions but here are a few bullet points.

Vaccinations

Very Important, please read all the details on the Terms and Conditions page.

Pets will be refused if they are not FULLY up to date with ALL of our Vaccination Policies.

To board in our Establishment, Dogs must have been vaccinated and be fully up to date with Annual Boosters to protect us against the following;

This means they MUST have their Booster vaccination done within the 12 month period, each year regardless to any extended time allowed by your vet. This is our Protocol!

  • Canine Parvovirus
  • Canine Distemper
  • Infectious canine hepatitis (Adenovirus)
  • Leptospirosis
  • Canine Para influenza

We also insist that All Dogs are vaccinated against Kennel Cough. This should be administered a minimum to 10 days prior to arrival.

All Vaccination cards Must be shown on arrival (this is usually our policy.)

-Flea and Worm Treatment for Dogs and Cats must be given 7 Days PRIOR to arrival.

Payments & Deposits

***Your deposit is refundable or transferable within 10 days of making the booking except within the 10-day period prior to arrival.***

Outside of these periods’ deposits are non-refundable.

All our charges are calculated by the day including Arrival and Departure day.

You can now pre-book to arrange to collect your Pet from 9 am until 10 am on departure day.

We can then waive the departure day charge.

However, this can only be done if you ask us to at the time of making the booking.

If you do not request this at the time of making the booking then you will be charged full price for departure day and you will have up until we close at the end of the day to collect your Pet.

This does not apply to existing bookings and we will not give refunds, transfer credits onto other bookings if you collect your pet first thing with out the pre-arrangement in place.

Arrivals

Because of the New Government Legislation we need to spend much more time walking the dogs.

Although we open at 8 am through the week and 9 am at weekends we would appreciate it if All of our Customers could arrange to drop their Pets off from 10 am onwards each day.

This will give us time to concentrate on early morning collections, Familiarisation and day Boarders time to be checked in and out, before all of the arrivals for the day.

This will not apply to Day Boarding or Familiarisation.(These have Set Times)

If you have any queries please do not hesitate to speak to a Member of Management.

They will do their utmost to accommodate you.

Familiarisation Sessions

We offer all dogs the opportunity to visit our kennels for a FREE 2-hour session prior to coming in to stay.

Viewing

We offer viewing 7 days per week from 10 am until 2 pm daily.

Exercise

***We walk the dogs in line with the new Government Legislation.***

20 minute walks at least twice per day and or 20 minutes time out one of our 4  Exercise areas. (Play parks)

We also do extra walks/ exercise as much as possible through out our day and offer extra walks for certain accommodations as standard as well as the new government legislation.

We also do a minimum of 4 Toilet breaks per day if the Kennel doesn't have an outside run.

We currently use approx. 6 acres of land, which we own, to walk and play with dogs.

We have sections that are fenced off that we can let the dogs off the lead too.

We must obviously get to know the dog first and have the Owners written permission.

In order for us to do this we employ a large amount of Staff and some Staff start work from 5 am until very late each day. (We have less Staff during the winter months than the Summer Months.)

If your dog has limitations with health and lengths of walks can you please let us know on arrival.

Security

***We have recently had Electric Gates installed on the entrance to our premises.***

They look Amazing. We will be getting the walls built over our Closed period. So it will look even more amazing.

Our Gates will open during our Opening Hours and locked outside of our opening hours.

We have 24-hour surveillance cameras recording for crime prevention.

We live on site and our premises are Manned 24 hours per day 7 days per week.

Complimentary Birthday Special Treat.

***Free to all our Dog Guests.***

We now offer a Birthday package for All dogs whose birthday is during their stay with us.We will provide a cake, sing happy birthday and give them an extra long walk or supervised time in one of our Play parks. With Owners permission we will take a photo too and also send them a copy.

It is to make Kennel stays with us much more, fun, interesting and exciting.

This will ensure that your pet has a very happy holiday.

New Building

We have now completed our New building. I am delighted to say we now have a Brand New

-Reception

-Feed Room

-Staff Room

-Managers Office

We have worked extremely hard to get everything sorted and i must say it all looks FANTASTIC.

These rooms have all been designed to be practical and ensure our day to day running goes as smoothly as possible. A very well thought out building that looks fantastic too. We are all extremely please with it.

NEW For January 2019.

Staff Training Room

We will have a room up and running for sometime in January which will be our New Staff Training Room.

We currently have a Staff Training Program in place and are constantly putting our Staff forward for training courses. We are also looking to take on two, new Apprentices in March, so this will help them have peace and quiet to do some written work.

Indoor Play Area

We are currently in progress of renovating an Indoor Play Area for the dogs.

This will be a valuable place where we can spend individual quality time with the dogs to do Multi-sensory Enrichment away from their kennels. This will be also ideal for the young puppies helping building up their confidence. This will be used all year round in all weathers. A Valuable asset to our kennels.
